The landscape becomes even more of a photographer's paradise, with breathtaking light from the sun's decreasing track across the sky. There are deep pastel shades on & in the hill-sides & woodland. A first dusting of snow across the mountain-tops can complete the idyllic setting.

There's also the bonus of having a cosy country pub located just a 2 minute walk from your cabin. RoamWest (separate business) is open until the  end of October, and serves a reputable dinner menu.​
